Lorca es sin lugar a dudas uno de los referentes literarios de la lengua castellana. La editorial Trotalibros se propuso reunir tres de sus obras más emblemáticas ambientadas en el entorno rural para rendir homenaje al autor a través de la mirada de sus protagonistas femeninas.
«Bodas de Sangre», «Yerma» y «La casa de Bernarda Alba» son las tres obras que forman esta colección. Las ilustraciones reflejan el dolor y las intrigas que componen estas tres piezas teatrales.
Para el proyecto realicé las tres ilustraciones principales de las obras, un retrato del autor y los elementos florales que aparecen en las cubiertas, guardas y páginas interiores.
Mezclando técnicas manuales con digitales pude dar forma a este proyecto tan completo.
Lorca is without a doubt one of the literary references in Spanish. Trotalibros publishing house set out to bring together three of his most emblematic works set in a rural environment to pay tribute to the author through the eyes of his female protagonists.
«Blood Wedding», «Yerma» and «The house of Bernarda Alba» are the three works that make up this collection. The illustrations reflect the pain and the intrigues that form these three theatrical pieces.
For the project I made the three main illustrations of the works, a portrait of the author and the floral elements that appear on the covers, endpapers and inside pages.
Mixing manual techniques with digital ones, I was able to shape this complete project.
